I will scrap Sadiq Khan's ULEZ expansion, day one.

Sadiq Khan expanded the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) to the whole of Greater London in August 2023.

Any person who drives into London with a non-compliant car is now forced to pay Sadiq Khan £12.50 per day.

It has been an unmitigated disaster.

Those on the lowest incomes are being hit hardest, as they are the mostly likely to own older, non-compliant cars. Families are being forced into debt, small businesses have had to shut down, and charities have been telling us they have had to reduce their operations.

Sadiq Khan has taken £52 million in ULEZ charges and fines in the first two months alone.

All of this, supposedly, to improve air quality. And yet there is no evidence of any significant benefit.

The Mayor's own impact assessment found the ULEZ expansion would make virtually no difference to air quality. And he has decided to postpone publishing the air quality data from the new expansion until after the Mayoral election.

This is nothing but a tax grab. And I will put a stop to it.

My promise to you is simple. With your support on May 2nd, I will:

Scrap the ULEZ expansion on day one.

Cancel Sadiq Khan's secret plans to introduce pay-per-mile charges on motorists.

Put an end to the war on motorists.

No ifs, no buts. The ULEZ expansion must go.

I am the only candidate in this contest who can end it.

I have been fighting ULEZ expansion since the beginning.

As a London Assembly Member, I have been raising the alarm and questioning the Mayor since he first contemplated the idea.

Our group exposed Sadiq Khan's wrongdoing in forcing through the policy, and he is now under an official investigation for dishonesty.

And as a Harrow councillor, I was part of the coalition that took Sadiq Khan's ULEZ expansion to court.

I am the only candidate who has directly fought against ULEZ expansion.

With your support, I will stop it next May.

Pay-per-mile is next.

The ULEZ expansion is not the end of it.

Sadiq Khan is determined to wage war against motorists, to fill his coffers at City Hall.

His next plan is a pay-per-mile scheme, where you will be monitored by the newly installed ULEZ tax cameras and charged for every mile you drive.

The Mayor has been quite open about his ambitions. He told the Telegraph that he was planning to roll out a 'Singapore-style' system.

And Transport for London has already started working on it. They have already hired software engineers to start building the system.

Now he is trying to pretend none of this is happening, just as he did when he was asked before the last election if he was planning to expand ULEZ.

I am quite clear. There will be no pay-per-mile under my Mayoralty, and I will put an immediate stop to these plans.

We can stop Sadiq Khan's war on motorists next May, but I need your help.

I am the only candidate who can defeat Sadiq Khan, scrap the ULEZ expansion and stop pay-per-mile. None of the other candidates can beat him.
